The Iranian born Mahan Esfahani has rapidly established himself as the leading harpsichordist of his generation and was the first harpsichord player to be named as a BBC New Generation Artist. His solo debut at the Wigmore Hall was broadcast on Radio 3 and his recording of Poulenc's Concert Champetre was chosen as CD of the month by Music Magazine in May 2010. His series and festival appearances included the Proms, the Regensburg Tage Alter Musik, the Gottingen Handel Festival, the Settima Mozart, Milan and the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.
